"The term "gifted" has never been applied to a boy like Donovan Curtis, who is best known for his wacky and wacky jokes. When one of his actions has truly disastrous results, it seems that at last he has gone too far. But thanks to a mistake by one of the school administrators, Donovan is sent to the Academy of School Excellence (AEE), to be part of a special program for gifted and talented students. It wasn't exactly what Donovan had in mind, but it turns out there couldn't be a better hiding place for him. He now he alone will have to fool all these guys with genius IQs and go unnoticed. As PREPA teachers and students get to know him, they realize that Donovan isn't good at math or science (or nothing, really ...), and his facade is in danger of disappearing."
