The fire fighters were so moved by the loss that they organized a furniture and clothing collection drive to help the family get back on their feet. This book is dedicated to First Responders everywhere (Federal, State, County, and City) who have decided they want to help their fellow citizens and have sacrificed significant personal and family time to become trained and certified to do just that. There are many alive today because of their caring. The Glad To Do It! collection tells the adventures of a fire fighter (Uncle Rocky), police officers (Officer Jack, Officer Kate), and an EMT (EMT Morales) as they fight fires, stop crime, rescue people, and help neighbors. The stories are free of bad behavior and the characters are kind, friendly people who enjoy helping others.
