The United States Department of Labor (DOL) is a part of the U.S. Government that is responsible for the occupational safety, wage and hour standards, unemployment insurance benefits, re-employment services, and much more. The purpose of the DOL is to assist citizens in work related situations: conditions, advancement opportunities, profitability, benefits, and rights.
