Bag om Urban Educator's Journey of Hope
In 2012 Anne Clark received the heart-stopping news that her mother had cancer. Disheartened by the news, she immediately flew to California to be with her mom during her treatment. Even though her professional career was gaining traction, she didnt hesitate to be by her moms side during her battle. She had never been truly alone up to that point, and while she waited during her mothers treatments, she began to reflect on her own life. In that moment she discovered what kept her from achieving true success. It was the turning point she had been waiting for.
With her inspirational prose, Anne Clark recalls the pivotal moments in her life that would lead to her success, and brings together hope and a positive future for all those around her. Being a lifelong resident in the City of York, and an Urban Educator for twenty years, she has dedicated herself to helping countless children overcome advertsity to bring about a better outlook on life. Through trials and hardships, Clark shares of her ourney that led her to where she is today.
Anne Clark has received two Masters and is currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Public Leadership. She has presented her work on SMART model, Joint Use Agreements, Latino Parent Involvement, Developing the Leaders of Today and Community Partnerships locally, statewide and nationally.
