John Littlefeather and his son Timmy are on vacation in the wilderness of Washington State, when John meets the woman he loves. There is a small problem. He has to rescue her after she is kidnapped by one of The People Who Live in the Forest. Back home, in Bristow, Oklahoma, a blow to Ray's head causes him to regress into a savage that lived two hundred years ago. A savage whose primary goal is to kill John Littlefeather and take his wife and child as his own.
