Before colleges and universities can be truly effective in preparing students for a post-college life, an understanding of the college to post-college transition process for recent college graduates is needed. Although there is extensive literature characterizing the college experience, little research exists surrounding the experiences of recent college graduates, especially during the transition out of college.The purpose of this study was to understand the transition from college to postcollege life for recent college graduates. Conducted from a constructivist epistemological paradigm, this study employed grounded theory methods to understand how participants interpreted their post-college transition experience.

In addition, this study examined the influence of a learning partnership academic advising program on second-year college students' development of self-authorship, hope, and meaning in life. Finally, this study explored possible relationships between the three constructs of hope, meaning in life, and self-authorship.

Although family systems theorists have long emphasized the family as an important influence on the individual's life choices, there is minimal qualitative research relating to Millennial college students and the impact of their families, particularly in the area of financial beliefs and behaviors. The purpose of this qualitative study was the exploration of the phenomenon of family influence on Millennial college students regarding how money messages from parents and grandparents have influenced their own money beliefs and behaviors. Seven college students between the ages of 21-23 were interviewed to gain insight into the perceived impact of family money messages.
The purpose of this book is concerned with the plan for building a boarding senior secondary school in Jonglei Province, Southern Sudan. The book was prepared to provide educational reality and statistic of the area, which was lacking from the plan and survey of the Jonglei Canal. The little development in the area happened during the ten years of peace following the Addis Ababa Agreement (1972 - 1983). The eruption of the war in 1983 shattered the dream and did not ensure the construction of the planned boarding school. The war dragged on for several years and resulted in killing and displacements of millions of civil populations. The schooling activities came to a complete stop in the South. The Sudanese armies occupied the premises that accommodated the school, and the teachers and students fled for their lives. Appendixes A, B and C were provided to show how the Sudanese policy makers prioritized northern region more than the southern in the educational area; thus, creating the educational gaps between the North and the South. The issue of unequal development in the country and the imposition of Islamic Sheria laws were the main causes of the two wars.

Global migration movements are also reflected in classrooms. However, the professional re-entry of migrant teachers with and without a refugee background has been neglected for a long time. This publication, which was developed in the European project "International Teachers for Tomorrow's School" (ITTS), is dedicated to this question. In seven country contributions, the opportunities and challenges of returning to work in Belgium, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Poland, Slovenia and Türkiye are examined - for some of the countries, new ground was broken. It is shown which conditions favour, challenge or prevent a new professional start. In addition, the results of the cross-national ITTS study are presented, in which high satisfaction values are reflected among those teachers who succeeded in re-entering the profession despite many hurdles. Finally, the findings of the project are condensed into a Series of hints and recommendations.
