Med læselysten som motor får de mere øvelse og udvikler deres læsekompetence.Elever med ordblindhed stopper ofte med at læse på mellemtrinnet. Det man ikke er god til, har man ofte ikke lyst til. Det kan blive en negativ spiral for mange elever med ordblindhed. Den usikre læsekompetence giver ofte lav læselyst, og jo mindre de læser, desto mindre øvelse får de, og det er svært at blive en god læser uden træning.Metoden i Ordblinde læselyst er udviklet på baggrund af selvbestemmelsesteorien og udfolder, hvordan du på læsemøder understøtter elevernes behov for autonomi, kompetence og samhørighed.Metoden er udviklet særligt til de elever på mellemtrinnet, der oplever modvind på læseudviklingsvejen, men metoden kan også bruges til alle andre elever, der ikke læser af lyst.I bogen får du anvisning på et forløb med læsemøder.
