The present research has been executed on the need for Customer Relations Management in APSRTC ¿ a state owned Transport Company of Andhra Pradesh which caters bus service throughout the state.The Backdrop of the study reflects the fact that APSRTC is incurring financial loss in a highly competitive scenario.The commuters are emanating preference towards comfortable and satisfying service offered by the transporters, instead of being loyal to a specific brand for emotional reasons. In an open & transparent Buyer¿s Market, they can make a shift from one transport company to another without any subjective bias. In such a competitive scenario it has become imperative for APSRTC to ensure the retention of the existing customers as well as to leverage new customers from the clutches of the competitive transport companies. The situation is very crucial for APSRTC and it has become imperative for them to adopt pragmatic stratagems that may lead to a successful turnaround. In such a crucial juncture, I have initiated a comprehensive study to identify the the appropriate strategy that would facilitate APSRTC to outpace the highly problematic, jeopardizing situation.
About 120 coal-based thermal power stations are in India and Fly ash is a major issue because electricity generation in the country would remain predominantly coal-based for a couple of coming decades. The coal being made available to thermal power stations has ash content in relatively large proportions. The ash generation has increased to about 131 million tonne during 2015-16 and shall continue to grow. A large number of technologies have been developed for gainful utilization and safe management of fly ash under the concerted efforts of Fly Ash Mission of the GOI since 1994. As a result, the utilization of fly ash has increased to over 73 million tonne in the past few years. Therefore, the book is a study on technology forecasting and technology assessment for utilizing fly ash in constructing embankments in Indian perspective. Then the ISM approach is used to find the relationship between various critical research factors.
The purpose of the quantitative correlational study was to profile the leadership of women engineers licensed in the province of British Columbia by using the Leadership Practices Inventory to operationalize leadership and explore associations with levels of university education, executive coaching, years of engineering practice, and the location of practice as rural versus urban. The number of women leaders continues to increase in Canadian corporations while the influence of women engineer leaders is not as progressive. Growth in the fields of engineering leadership education, management education, and leadership education offered sufficient evidence to pursue research that furthered the leadership development of women engineers. In university engineering education inclusion of leadership education improved, while attention to leadership development for professional women engineers remained sparse. Findings of this study described the leadership style of women engineers and suggested the combination of education and learning approach for a program in leadership development for women engineer leaders.
