Hovedloven er lov nr. 323 af 26. juni 1975 (BL1975). Selvom der er tale om en lov på mere end 40 år på et væsentligt forvaltningsområde, er der ikke tidligere skrevet en lovkommentar til byggeloven. Byggeloven er siden 1975 ændret et antal gange.Denne lovkommentar omfatter kommentering af byggelovens bestemmelser og en helt summarisk beskrivelse af de tilhørende bestemmelser i bygningsreglementet og de øvrige bekendtgørelser udstedt i medfør af byggeloven. Vægten i kommentaren er lagt på at skabe overblik og på at få gjort domstolspraksis og ombudsmandspraksis tilgængelig. Kommentaren omfatter alene et udvalg af afgørelser fra Statsforvaltningen fra 2016 og 2017 frem til 1. marts 2018.

This book examines in great detail the D-B and IPD methods, while touching on D-B-B and CM project deliveries. In this vein, the discussion regarding IPD is a variation from ASHRAE Technical Committee TC 7.1, Integrated Building Design (IBD), with the focus herein on HVAC-Led IPD Opportunities by consulting engineers and mechanical contractors. This IPD variation is also described later in the book as a 21st-century version of what was 20th-century D-B project delivery although D-B project delivery is still widely used.
The book explores the advanced façade systems according to the productive and constructive contents, in a cognitive and operative form, as a manual text to provide guidelines for researchers, technicians and professionals. It provides operational guidance for the technological design, production planning and site executive coordination for the realization of façade systems. The analysis deals with the main building elements and technical interfaces. The study of the façade systems, after explaining the anchoring structures and their connections to the load-bearing elements, investigates the criteria for the assembly between the framings. In particular, the book examines the technical interfaces of the main advanced envelope systems with respect to the functional, constructive and applicative coordination procedures of the mullions and transoms framing, of the structural sealant glazing façade system, of the unit façade system, of the suspended façade system and of the double skin façade system. The technical and manual character of the book is also expressed through the analysis of the functional and application procedures of the gaskets with respect to the façade systems in order to prevent the transmission of air and water loads: the analysis focuses on the connections between the framing and the enclosure elements of the envelope, in accordance with the compensation of height differences in order to guarantee impermeability, airtightness and insulation. Then, the book describes the assembly and interface conditions between elements of different composition and production within the façade systems: the examination of the technical interfaces involves the development and application of sealants, based on the loads exerted on the jointing devices, in order to fulfill the requirements of sealing and tightness with respect to mechanical, thermal and hygrometric, water, air and wind stresses. Moreover, the study of the envelope systems examines the methodologies directed toward fulfilling the requirements with respect to the actions caused by fire loads, considering the contents related to both components and connections and fixing surfaces.

The empirical study emphasizes the importance of data availability, market fundamentals, and the potential of the operator model for managing pop-up retail spaces.The retail real estate market in Switzerland comprises about 13.0% of total commercial areas. The growth of e-commerce, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, is causing significant changes in brick-and-mortar retail. Real estate owners are facing higher vacancy rates, shorter rental terms, and lower rental prices. However, e-commerce has limitations that prevent it from fully replacing physical stores. Retailers are now seeking flexible and innovative spaces like pop-up stores. In Switzerland, pop-up stores are mostly used as marketing tools or to fill vacancies, rather than as a sustainable business model, due to their negative impact on property market value.This textbook has been recommended and developed for universitary courses in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Eine Methode, mit der die ganzheitliche Wertschöpfung von Gebäuden in der Praxis digital zur Anwendung kommen kann, wird als Building Information Modeling (BIM) bezeichnet.Bim findet derzeit primär in der Planung und Ausführung von Bauprojekten Anwendung. Zunehmend rückt ebenfalls der Mehrwert der Nutzung von BIM im Facility Management (FM) in den Fokus. Das Buch thematisiert die Definition der Anforderungen an BIM-Modelle zum zielgerichteten Einsatz im lebenszyklusübergreifenden FM. Dabei bilden die operativen Instandhaltungsprozesse den Ausgangspunkt. Die FM-basierten Datenkataloge dienen Bauherren, FM-Dienstleistern, Architekten und Ingenieuren zur zielgerichteten Erstellung der BIM-Modelle zur Übernahme in die Betriebsphase.

Basierend auf den bereits vorliegenden Erkenntnissen zur Arbeitsplatzgestaltung untersucht die vorliegende Forschungsarbeit die subjektive Wahrnehmung des eigenen Arbeitsbereiches im Homeoffice, auf Korrelationen mit der Arbeitszufriedenheit und der Arbeitsproduktivität.
