Zielsetzung der Gesellschaft fur Qualitatswissenschaft e.V. ist es, die Qualitatswissenschaft in Lehre und Forschung zu fordern und den Wissenstransfer in die industrielle Anwendung zu unterstutzen. Geschehen soll dies unter anderem durch Pflege des wissenschaftlichen Erfahrungsaustauschs unter den auf diesem Gebiet tatigen Personen und Institutionen und der Verbreitung von Forschungs- und Entwicklungsergebnissen sowie der Unterstutzung des Wissenstransfers zwischen Forschung und Praxis. Die Jahrestagung 2021 der Gesellschaft fur Qualitatswissenschaft fand gemeinsam mit der Brandenburgischen Technischen Universitat Cottbus - Senftenberg unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ralf Woll im September 2021 in Cottbus statt. Leitthema der Tagung war "e;Trends und Entwicklungstendenzen im Qualitatsmanagement"e;. Der Tagungsband beinhaltet die eingereichten und begutachteten Beitrage, die im Rahmen der Tagung prasentiert worden sind. Diese decken ein weites thematisches Spektrum ab, von Potentialen neuronaler Netze zur Fehlervermeidung, automatisierte Manahmenempfehlung in Softwareentwicklungsprozessen uber die zeitliche Veranderung von Kundenanforderungen bis hin zur Sicherheitskultur in der Agrar- und Ernahrungsbranche.
