Understanding Chavismo and its political model depends on a historical-conceptual basis and a perception of the changes that took place in the 20th century. Through this framework, we studied the oil policy adopted by Hugo Chávez's government (1999-2013) for the purposes of regional integration with Mercosur through the proposal called Petrosur. In order to understand this issue, we chose to analyze geographical, political, economic and legal aspects that could be seen as obstacles to the implementation of the proposal, as well as the ideological nature of Chávez's speeches associated with the various internal fissures in strategic sectors of the Venezuelan economy. Therefore, this work presents the results of a consistent study of the current Venezuelan reality, which is actually a reflection of a past full of unresolved issues.

The environment in which training establishments operate is increasingly changing. Now more than ever, they need to pay close attention to optimizing their managerial processes through the implementation of facility projects.This type of project has proven its effectiveness in the quest for performance, bringing about positive changes such as highly profitable cross-functional organization and the adoption of collective, participative management.We all know that project-based management is not only based on tools and methods, but also on human resources and organization.In this sense, even a facility project that federates and energizes institutional life, because of its complexity, uncertainties and multi-disciplinary nature, never unfolds in an ideal way. In fact, the mechanics of change induced by this project can only be driven by two forces: innovation and difficulties.

This research was initially motivated by the theoretical debate on ready-made, pop art and conceptual art, which arose from the criticism of the intellectual and aesthetic closure present in the canons demanded by school curricula in Brazil. The implications of these concepts are discussed in parallel with the development of a critical view of European and North American classifications as suitable matrices for understanding the creation of artists such as Arthur Bispo do Rosário, Brazil (1909-1989) and Georges Adéagbo, Benin (1942). In a complementary way, the path of the researcher-artist participates in the process of understanding and analysis. The focus was on the material and matter of everyday objects used in the work of Arthur Bispo do Rosário and on the itineraries of the works of Georges Adéagbo, a self-taught artist who exhibits his ideas and narratives in the form of "sculptural" objects, occupations of public spaces.

In educational institutions, managers are required to dynamize the teaching practice in order to implement and integrate the efforts of all the actors and achieve an efficient work based on a continuous process of improvement and training in the search for better means for the fulfillment of the managerial function. This contextual space was the scenario from which the present study arose from the Venezuelan contemporaneity. A descriptive research, field design, in which the survey was considered as a data collection technique and the questionnaire designed according to a Likert-type scale as an instrument, whose application to the population constituted by seventy-six managers, allowed concluding the need to strengthen in the managers the competences of a transformational leadership and with it their labor competences with the purpose of developing a quality management, with a wide and participative vision.

Customization in orthodontics is a computerized system that designs orthodontic appliances for individual patients. A customized appliance system uses digital models of the patients arches to simulate the optimal position of each dental element and the ideal final occlusion. Once the desired virtual result is achieved, the personalized archwires, brackets are made. Customized systems allow orthodontists to initiate treatment with the final goal in mind, and streamline mechanics towards a preestablished result. These techniques start by creating a setup of the desired outcome that serves as a diagnostic aid and is used for appliance fabrication. Through the use of intraoral scanning, cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), three-dimensional (3D) photography, and computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technologies, a novel customised system enables the assessment of changes in 3D and customization of treatment planning brackets, and wires.

Questo spazio contestuale è stato lo scenario da cui è emerso il presente studio nel Venezuela contemporaneo. Si è trattato di uno studio descrittivo, basato su una ricerca sul campo, in cui è stata utilizzata l'indagine come tecnica di raccolta dei dati e il questionario progettato secondo una scala di tipo Likert. La sua applicazione alla popolazione di settantasei manager ha portato alla conclusione che i dirigenti devono rafforzare le loro competenze di leadership trasformazionale e quindi le loro competenze lavorative per sviluppare una gestione di qualità, con una visione ampia e partecipativa.

Pourtant, cette augmentation est lente à venir. L'augmentation du nombre de femmes dans l'encadrement supérieur a-t-elle une incidence sur la culture d'entreprise ou s'agit-il simplement de nominations symboliques destinées à pacifier les réglementations imposées ? De nombreuses questions se posent encore. La question de savoir pourquoi l'augmentation est lente reste d'actualité. Les femmes ont-elles renoncé à leurs efforts, ont-elles accepté leur sort et cessé de lutter, ou progressent-elles plus lentement pour une autre raison ? Les résultats de l'étude menée auprès de 24 participants, 7 hommes et 17 femmes, ont révélé que les trois thèmes principaux étaient surprenants. Sur la base de ces résultats, d'autres études sont indiquées pour approfondir le sujet du phénomène du plafond de verre et déterminer si les femmes progressent réellement sans entrave ou si elles ont renoncé à essayer.

Starch is one of the most widely used hydrocolloids in the food industry due to its abundance and low cost. It is used as an ingredient in various foods, as a thickening agent, gelling agent, stabilizer and fat substitute. The food industry has been making use of non-starch hydrocolloids, which improve the rheological and textural properties of foods, increase moisture retention and maintain the technological quality of products during storage (Funami et al., 2005). Several studies have been carried out to clarify the effect of hydrocolloids on the rheology and texture changes of starch-based foods. Most studies have been conducted to understand the effect of hydrocolloids on the processes of starch gelatinization and retrogradation (Yoshimura et al., 1996; Gudmundsson et al., 1991; Funami et al., 2005), increased water absorption capacity and greater stability in freezing and thawing cycles (Lee et al., 2002). The starch granule is a semi-crystalline particle composed of the polysaccharides amylose and amylopectin.

The main objective of this study was to analyze the potential of Payment for Environmental Services (PES) to generate socio-economic and environmental benefits in water resource management, when forest and water interact on small rural properties. Water is increasingly becoming a strategic resource in terms of vital, economic and geopolitical interests. With the increase in environmental degradation in parallel with the growing demand for water for various uses, there has been a need to rethink public policies, especially with regard to environmental management instruments. The current scenario requires management from the perspective of various economic, social and environmental aspects, which has led to the strengthening of a new management strategy for water resources: Payment for Environmental Services. PES can be considered a good strategy to ensure the practice of sustainable farming and sustainable forest management, which directly influence the conservation and integrated management of water and forest resources in a watershed, as happened in Extrema-MG.

In the last two decades, changes in eating habits and sedentary lifestyles have increased the prevalence of overweight and obesity in both developed and developing countries. In Brazil, overweight has been increasing steadily since the 1970s and is currently found in around half of the population. The high prevalence of malnutrition in the past has given way to an increase in overweight and obesity in children and adolescents. In the 1990s, the problem of childhood obesity in the world became alarming and its rapid development in this population made it the biggest public health problem in pediatrics1, with a significant impact on the loss of functional capacity in children and adolescents. Obesity in adolescence is also associated with risk factors for developing cardiovascular disease (CVD) in adulthood. Much of the problem is due to excess abdominal fat, which increases lipolysis at this site, stimulates the mobilization of fatty acids into the portal system, increases the concentration of free fatty acids in the liver and consequently increases the risk of cardiovascular disease.

In the context of the global environmental crisis, the Amazon has emerged as a symbol of a nature that is supposed to be untouched for the most part. The attention drawn to its biodiversity and natural riches will not allow it to remain unscathed by the onslaughts of big business, given the widespread discourse that the region is a great human void, to be protected by world society as a source of resources and the provision of essential environmental services. The object defined for this study consisted of investigating the human and environmental interactions necessary for the organization of indigenous economic systems in the Upper Solimões River region, with the aim of verifying their components, their dynamics and the extent to which these elements are linked to the proposition of environmental, economic and social sustainability.

The intensive development of the tourist industry for more than 30 years on Cancun's beach has caused significant alterations in the functioning of this natural ecosystem. Its geographical location in a frequent hurricane transit zone constitutes an additional threat. The presence of an erosive process, which degrades its aesthetic values and its conditions of use, has led to the implementation of two artificial sand nourishment campaigns to mitigate the effects of this process. The general objective of this research is: "To assess the natural recovery processes of beaches and the effect of artificial regeneration on the system in order to optimise engineering actions on beaches with low sediment input". The results obtained indicate that the erosive process identified is irreversible under current conditions and that artificial sand nourishment is the best option to mitigate the effects of this process. To increase the effectiveness of artificial sand nourishment projects in the future, modifications to their design and implementation are proposed.

The aim of this systematisation is to write up the process of linking with society and the development of the experiences lived during the 8th semester in the San Vicente de Pusir Rural Community, with the aim of learning about the intervention of Social Work in the community area with pregnant adolescents, collecting and analysing the information gathered during the research. Adolescent pregnancy is a problem that affects the entire Ecuadorian population, increasing its rates every year. Social, cultural and educational aspects contribute to the increase in these rates, requiring adolescents to fulfil the role of adults and in many cases to abandon their studies, The San Vicente de Pusir Community together with the Health Centre of the parish and the students of the Central University worked to contribute to the reduction of pregnancy rates in the community. As a future Social Worker, I always try to work with the aim of improving the integral wellbeing of priority groups.

Accommodation units are part of the basic facilities of the tourist infrastructure, as they allow visitors to stay in the area visited. This work aims to locate all individual and collective accommodation units in the study region. The studied area is made up in the form of a Geographical Axis that includes the counties of Bistri¿a-N¿s¿ud-Mure¿-Suceava-Maramure¿ and Cluj because these counties belong to the most important areas for tourism in Romania. The concepts of accommodation units analysed are reviewed. The classification characteristics of the qualities offered by the accommodation units are also investigated. At the level of the main cities comprising the geographical axis, the five-star hotels in the location are analysed. SketchUp software and the Cohom.com program are used to create a model for the design of accommodation units. It is a central element in creating a complete guide to hotel architecture and design. Knowing how satisfied is far from enough: a comprehensive customer satisfaction analysis framework based on hybrid text mining techniques. Thus, a rating system based on tourist reviews is created. The modular evaluation system is called STAR Etiquette.
