Den 12. august 2022 befandt Salman Rushdie sig på en scene i byen Chautauqua i Upstate New York, hvor han skulle holde foredrag om forfatteres sikkerhed. En sortklædt mand kom springende fra salen og gik koldblodigt til angreb på Rushdie med en kniv. Han stak ham overalt, han kunne komme til, 15 steder – stikket i det højre øje gik så langt ind, at det skar den optiske nerve over og var millimeter fra hjernen, millimeter fra at slå ham ihjel. KNIV ligner ikke noget Salman Rushdie har skrevet tidligere. Han skriver mere personligt end nogensinde. Og han pakker intet ind. Det er et råt dokument, og det gør indtryk. Bogen er selvbiografisk. Rushdie fortæller om sin barndom, sin familie, sin alkoholiserede far, sine børn og sin kone – og om det had, han oplevede, efter han skrev de Sataniske vers og de ti år, han levede mere eller mindre under jorden i England. Han fortæller også meget direkte om, hvordan flere ikke støttede op om ham på det tidspunkt og mente, han selv var skyld i sin situation – Jimmy Carter og Germaine Greer fx – det nager ham stadig. I 2000 flyttede han til New York og insisterede på at leve en fri tilværelse. KNIV handler om ytringsfrihed og Salman Rushdies insisteren på at leve i frihed, og den handler om at komme igennem en frygtelig begivenhed. Bogen er et stærkt dokument, fuldstændig ublufærdigt. Det er velskrevet og interessant læsning.

I sit essay, som er den første samlede fremstilling af #MeToo i Norden, giver lektor og medlem af Det Danske Akademi Marianne Stidsen indblik i bevægelsens aftryk på nordisk kulturliv. Hendes fokus er på tre konkrete sager – om Københavns Universitet, Det Svenske Akademi og Forfatterskolen i Danmark – som hun selv har været med til at debattere.

Für die Umsetzung des Übereinkommens des Europarates zur Verhütung und Bekämpfung von Gewalt gegen Frauen und häuslicher Gewalt (Istanbul-Konvention) hat der Regierungsrat des Kantons Zürich in einem separaten Beschluss die prioritär umzusetzenden Massnahmen für den Kanton Zürich festgelegt. Der Interventionsstelle gegen Häusliche Gewalt, welche innerhalb der Präventionsabteilung bei der Kantonspolizei Zürich angesiedelt ist, obliegt die übergeordnete Koordination der direktionsübergreifenden Vorhaben (RRB 338/2021). Die Beiträge des Sammelbandes geben Einblicke in verschiedene Bereiche der Gewaltprävention, des Opferschutzes, der Strafverfolgung sowie der interdisziplinären Zusammenarbeit im Verbund des Bedrohungsmanagements.

Diese Studie nimmt den Straftatbestand des Feminizids im lateinamerikanischen Kontext in Romanen von Diego Zúñiga (Chile, 2015), Laura Restrepo (Kolumbien, 2018) und Fernanda Melchor (Mexiko, 2017) in den Blick. Es wird gezeigt, wie die literarischen Texte die systemische und intersektionale Dimension des Feminizids beleuchten. Dabei wird deutlich, dass Feminizid interdisziplinär untersucht werden muss, um die Begrenzungen völker- und strafrechtlicher Normen aufzuzeigen. Feminizid ist nur im Strafrecht lateinamerikanischer Staaten verankert. Dieses Alleinstellungsmerkmal wird von den literarischen Texten aufgegriffen, die in der Studie in ihren Verbindungen zu einschlägigen Rechtstexten analysiert werden. Die Studie versteht Literatur als eigene Erkenntnisform, die eine Korrekturforderung für den gesellschaftlichen und juristischen Umgang mit Feminiziden über Lateinamerika hinaus beinhaltet und dabei insbesondere deren Straflosigkeit markiert. Sie leistet dabei einen Beitrag zur interdisziplinären Feminizidforschung, die gerade im deutschsprachigen Raum noch ganz am Anfang steht.

Die Arbeit widmet sich der 2016 reformierten Vorschrift des § 177 StGB und analy-siert den Ertrag dieser Reform hin zu einem umfassenderen Schutz der sexuellen Selbstbestimmung durch die Einführung des ¿Nein heißt Nein!¿-Ansatzes in das deutsche Recht. Hierfür analysiert die Autorin nach einer Vorstellung der Norm und ihrer Probleme einerseits bisher zu § 177 StGB n.F. ergangene gerichtliche Ent-scheidungen. Andererseits nimmt sie einen Rechtsvergleich mit Irland als Rechts-ordnung, die schon länger ein Konsensprinzip in der Form des ¿Nein heißt Nein!¿ kennt, vor und analysiert die dort mit der Regelung gemachten Erfahrungen. Schließlich wirft sie auch noch einen kurzen Blick auf ¿Ja heißt Ja!¿-Regelungen, insbesondere an US-amerikanischen Universitäten sowie im schwedischen Straf-recht.
