This book can revolutionise the Church and help heal all forms of spiritual barrenness. The author, Z.T. Fomum, denounces the errors that hijack the Gospel message. He wants, through a reminder of fundamental truths, to bring the people of God back to a revolutionary conquest of souls. Why? Because evangelism is the act of presenting Jesus to a person who does not know Him, in a way that provokes a real encounter with Jesus. With God committed to this work, there is a need to walk and act in the power of the Holy Spirit. In this book, the reader will also find all the advice for approaching a soul and proclaiming the gospel with impact, as the author helps us to discover in the encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman. This book is a must-read!

Duke highlights the benefits of church membership¿discipleship, accountability, and fellowship¿and offers advice on how all Christians can encourage faithful church membership in their congregations.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free!>As the door to the Church Age closes and the Kingdom Age opens, former Seventh Day Adventist pastor Gil Hodges, along with his wife Adena, is leading a global community of maturing sons who are ready to explore their royal identity in the Kingdom Age. For over fifty years, Gil lived haunted by memories of a painful past that left him knee-deep in self-loathing, depression, and despair. Gil's distorted view of himself and his belief in a vengeful and angry God even led him to attempt suicide. Almost a lifetime later, Gil allowed Father to minister the truth of sonship to him. Gil learned what it truly means to be seated in heavenly places right now and to live within the loving heart of a good Father. Gil also discovered how Yahweh delights to give us access to the limitless realms of the kingdom through the gateway of our sanctified imagination. This set Gil free to live a life of Ultimate Impact. Having seen his life permanently and radically transformed, Gil was filled with a passion to share these revelations with the congregation he and his wife were then pastoring. As Gil and Adena stepped out to teach these life-changing truths, people naturally began to ask many questions. Gil and Adena soon realized that they needed to put these truths into an online discipleship course so that anyone could have access to them. Father gave Gil and Adena a blueprint to do this, along with heavenly plumb lines for walking in the liberty of the Kingdom Age. These are discussed in more detail in this powerful book of Kingdom insights. Gil's personal journey of freedom with Father also forms the basis of Ultimate Impact, the online interactive course (KingdomTalksMedia.com) that is now seeing thousands of others set free to have―as the name suggests―their ultimate impact in the earth!
Homosexuality has taken center stage in our nation, churches, and homes. Everyone knows or cares deeply for someone who experiences same-sex attraction, sexual confusion, or practices homosexuality. While the entire world talks about homosexuality, the subject remains taboo in many churches. The fear of being labeled as hateful, a bigot, or ignorant has kept many Christians out of the conversation. The church remains silent, leaving many people who love God confused about what the Bible really says about sexuality. Did God make people gay? Does God love homosexuals? Will people have to deal with same-sex attraction their entire lives? Landon Schott brings truth and clarity to sexual confusion, using over 400 scripture references to reveal the heart of the Father and mind of Christ. Gay Awareness exposes false teaching and deception that have created a false identity through the lens of sexuality instead of the eyes of God's Word. Gay Awareness will stretch you and challenge you, but with relentless love bring you comfort and healing. In Gay Awareness: Discovering the Heart of the Father and the Mind of Christ, top-selling author and nationally known speaker Landon Schott addresses:What the Bible actually says about marriage, sexuality, and homosexuality.Mistakes the Church makes when addressing homosexuality and the gay community.Contradictions between the gay lifestyle and the Christ-centered lifestyle.Clear insight into how to genuinely show Christian love to those who practice homosexuality. How people can experience deliverance and freedom.Featuring an extensive interview with highly respected authority Dr. Michael L. Brown, a multiple book best-selling author and expert on spiritual renewal and cultural reformation, Gay Awareness is the book you've been looking for to find clarity, teach you what Scripture says about homosexuality and how to respond to people with love, grace, and truth.
The emergence of nuns as members or associates or followers of the Cistercian Order is shrouded in uncertainty. They are not mentioned in the earliest document of the White Monks, the Exordium Parvum, compiled by perhaps 1150, nor in the first codification of Cistercian statutes in 1202. Yet, by the year 1200, in France alone some one hundred nunneries claimed to be Cistercian. From the early to mid-thirteenth century there was to be a rapid growth in the number of convents, reminiscent of the speedy advance of the male houses of the Order in the previous century. By the time of the European Reformation the number of convents in Europe and the Near East claiming to be Cistercian has been variously estimated at between five and nine hundred. In this study, David Williams charts the growth of these female houses ¿ their foundation, the different physical locations of the convent sites, their buildings and possessions, the communities and their finances and their daily life ¿ incorporating a wealth of fascinating detail about many of the nuns themselves and of their royal, aristocratic and clerical patrons. It is a significant contribution to an important aspect of women's history in the mediaeval period.
Multimedia and technology has become increasingly important in reaching ministry audiences worldwide. Many ministry organizations emphasize the creation and dissemination of polished audiovisual products, but often without considering if the products fit the needs and media habits of the target audience. In this book, Ernst examines the strategic implications and advantages of a variety of media platforms while inspiring the media creator to consider the needs, learning styles and communication preferences of the audience. ¿Translating the Bible into Media is practical and well researched. It is written in plain English with practical examples drawn from real-life, field research. Scripture engagement workers, media specialists, and those working in low-resource settings will find it a treasure-trove of helpful ideas and recommendations.
I salute you, my brothers. It is to you and for you that I speak. You are the strong nails that hold the church together. You will spark, sending bursts of light streaming through the post-modern church as the new millennium unfolds.
Webster defines "preparation" as the action or process of making something ready for use or the service of getting ready for some occasion, test, or duty. God prepares leaders for greatness, but they must be willing to allow Him to take them through "His" process. The journey where God is taking you is not AN EVENT; it's A PROCESS. This process isn't easy but it is necessary. John Wooden, the legendary Hall of Fame basketball coach says, "When opportunity comes it's too late to prepare. If you want to be a successful leader, learn to lead BEFORE you have a leadership position". It is in the preparation process where God refines, renews, purifies, transforms, and prepares his leaders for service. While serving as an Associate Minister, I remember asking God, "When will it be my TURN?" I experienced seasons of frustration, irritation, and agitation; but God kept me when I wanted to give up. Looking back now, it was well worth the wait. Through the process, my faith matured, my gifts were discovered, my weaknesses were exposed, and my character was developed. This book will give some principles on how to serve with purpose instead of seeking a position.
Anne Hayward spends several months each year walking to sacred sites in Britain and beyond, now having covered many thousands of miles. Her third book recounting these pilgrimage walks looks in more detail at the history of 40+ sites she has visited in Wales or in places with a strong connection to it. In roughly chronological order, the book follows the history of Christianity in the country, discussing topics as varied as Roman roads, early medieval bell-founding, the development of Quaker graveyards, and the reinvention of an early saint in contemporary literature. It tells the remarkable story of religious faith in Wales, not only from the later Roman period and the Age of the Saints, but also in later times and into our own day, asking whether anywhere else has packed quite so much interest into so small a nation.
In Mark 9 & 10, Jesus explains to his disciples that they must become like little children to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. How can we grow in childlike trust? We can be generous like the boy in Mark 6, whose food is the means of a miracle. We can be persistent like the mother in Mark 7 and honest about our shortcomings like the father in Mark 9; in both cases, the childlike faith of the parents prompts Jesus to heal their children. Author Sara Beth Meyer and illustrator Allison Hsu, both working mothers, perfect a format and design created in their first book, The Gospel of Matthew for Little Ones. In The Gospel of Mark for Little Ones, readers of all ages are invited to journey with Jesus from the Baptism in the Jordan to the Resurrection on Easter morning. Told in delightful rhyming stanzas and depicted in beautiful watercolor illustrations, the Gospel message comes alive and remains Good News for all to enjoy. May we grow in faith, hope and love each day, trusting in our Father at all times and following our brother Jesus all the way home.
Rupert of Salzburg was Bishop of Worms as well as the first Bishop of Salzburg and abbot of St. Peter's Abbey in Salzburg. He was a contemporary of the Frankish king Childebert III. According to St Bede, Felix helped Sigebert to establish a school in his Kingdom "where boys could be taught letters." Felix evangelised throughout East Anglia, building a Cathedral at Norwich and school at Dunwich, stone Churches throughout the region and the College that would become the University of Cambridge.
A structured liturgy is essential to regular worship; it encourages responses and prayers directly from and for the congregation. This holy rhythm allows for echoes of the lectionary readings, to create a worship service that brings each participant closer in their relationship with God. Ralph Mineo has compiled Lectionary Worship Aids, Series X, Cycle B: Echoes of the Word, his second volume in a three-volume set, to help other pastors and worship leaders create a holy cadence that echoes the lectionary readings, so that the message each week would resound throughout each service. Each liturgical piece offers a unique Call to Worship, Prayer of the Day, Confession & Forgiveness, and Prayers of Intercession that harken back to the readings for each individual week. Mineo has also taken the liberty of including a selection of hymns for each week, helping to plan out the service in a way that invites the congregation to participate in spreading the Holy Word. This volume is intended to serve as a springboard for the work of worship leaders, preparing a service that allows for deeper connections between the congregation and the messages from our Heavenly Father.

Cultural Change and the Church For many years, cross-cultural missions were directed to people in the countries of their birth, generally in Majority World areas. Foreigners present among or around the intended focus of ministry were not viewed as part of mission ministry. However, diaspora missions intentionally focuses on these peoples. Diaspora Missiology will help you understand the dynamics behind this accelerated movement of peoples from one region to another, and biblical principles and precedents that guide ministry today. This book also includes the application of social and communication studies, as well as actual cases of ministry to and with diaspora peoples. The chapters in this book show from the creation mandate in Genesis to the explanations of Paul in Acts 17, God meets individuals and nations in the midst of their journeys, alternately blessing, showing himself, and protecting his people through movement. It seems that God is orchestrating global migration with a view to blessing humanity, populating his creation, and drawing people to himself. This book will aid us in understanding and interacting ministerially with the scattered peoples of the world.
Why is everyone so angry online? The internet seems to have brought the world together only so we can tear each other apart. Social media platforms have become toxic and polarizing environments. Many of us are overwhelmed and disillusioned by endless online conflict and negativity. How did we get here, and what can we do about it? The internet changes not only how we communicate but also what we communicate. Pastor and former radio host Douglas Bursch provides a spiritual examination of why social media divides people and how Christians can address polarization through a ministry of peacemaking. Digital media dehumanizes and disembodies us, dulling our ability to know when to speak and when to remain silent. But healthy online communication is possible through a constructive posture of reconciliation. Bursch offers practical examples of how to proactively manage social media and handle online conflict in redemptive ways. Together we can change the discourse of online Christian communication. Discover how we can use social media in a positive, Christ-like manner.
Which way do I go?The poet Robert Frost said it best in one of his most famous poems, The Road Less Traveled. He muses, "Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both . . ." We often wonder if we made the right decision when it pertains to things such as marrying the right person, choosing the right place to raise a family, or accepting a new job offer. Many of us even live with the pain of regret or find ourselves replaying the scenario in our minds, imagining an entirely different outcome. The question we must ask ourselves is, "Where was God in this process?"Proverbs 16:3 tells us "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." We must seek to glorify God and not ourselves. If we do this, we need not worry about selecting the right route-God will guide our steps.Join the GR8 Relationships ministry in Did you Choose the Right Path to examine how we can properly make those difficult life decisions.
The Gospel of Christ is a message which claims to save from damnation those who believe it. The Christian message purports to reveal the Savior, Jesus Christ, what He did and why, how salvation is gained, and where to find reliable information about it. The Gospel, however, is widely doubted, disputed, and denied. Have you ever wondered: o Does Jesus have to be who Christians claim he is?o What did his death accomplish?o Would God send me to hell?o Can faith really be all there is to it?o Do I need to trust the Bible? Using Bible verses, "Answers; Jesus and the Christian Message" addresses objections to the Gospel, and allows Christianity's source book to speak for itself.
