C'est quelque chose de totalement différent, et pour le moment il est impossible de la définir exactement. Si nous appelons ces vibrations "couleurs" ce n'est que pour pouvoir les classer dans l'ordre du spectre. Mais les radiations proviennent autant de la coloration que de la substance et de la forme de l'objet. Prenons par exemple les métaux: les "couleurs" auxquelles ils répondent ne représentent nullement leur coloration, (p.e. le fer répond au rouge, le mercure au vert etc.). C'est vraisemblablement leur nature particulière, leur individualité, si l'on me permet d'employer ce mot, leur essence qui se manifeste par une radiation particulière correspondant à une vibration de couleur. Mais la vibration rouge du fer n'est pas la même chose que la vibration émise par une étoffe de couleur rouge, quoique l'une et l'autre résonnent à la même place sur le Pendule Universel. J'ai classé ces vibrations dans l'ordre du spectre solaire, afin de présenter un système et un point de départ. Ceci devint possible grâce au "Pendule Universel" de Chaumery et Bélizal qui est aussi à la base de toutes mes expériences et observations, et de ce qui constitue l'objet du présent ouvrage. Ce qui nous intéresse pour le moment c'est la question de l'équilibre. Une maladie est le résultat d'un déséquilibre. Ce déséquilibre se produit quand une vibration étrangère à la nature du sujet embrouille le rythme normal des vibrations cellulaires. La cure consiste dans le rétablissement de l'équilibre normal, ou bien dans la recherche d'un nouveau point d'équilibre entre la vibration du sujet et celle qu'il reçoit de l'extérieur.
