The quality and types of lubricating oil lead to an increase in the lifetime of the machine and regulate the machine operating temperatures. So, nowadays, it¿s important to enhance the tribological and rheological characteristics of lubricating oils by adding different additives. Nanoparticles dispersed in lubricating oils can enhance their properties, such as thermal conductivity, pour point, flash point, and reduction of wear, thus reducing emissions and saving fuel. Because of the ever-increasing demand for lubricants, a significant amount of work has been done to modify lubricating oils with additives to improve their overall properties. In recent years, many researchers have focused their efforts on studying lubricant oil additives to enhance lubricating characteristics. The goal of this review article is to showcase the work done in the area of lubricating oil with different additives for engine oil.

Les paramètres de conception ont été optimisés dans le but de minimiser le poids de l'arbre de transmission composite. Este trabalho trata da substituição de veios de transmissão convencionais de duas peças em aço por um veio de transmissão em compósito e-glass/epóxi, carbono/epóxi de alta resistência e carbono/epóxi de alto módulo para uma aplicação automóvel. Os parâmetros de conceção foram optimizados com o objetivo de minimizar o peso do veio de transmissão em compósito. A otimização do design também mostrou um potencial significativo de melhoria no desempenho do veio de transmissão.

Progettazione e analisi ottimale di un albero di trasmissione in composito per un'automobile: La sostituzione delle strutture metalliche convenzionali con strutture composite presenta molti vantaggi grazie alla maggiore rigidità e resistenza specifica dei materiali compositi.
