    I have been training my current 1 year old Brittany using this book as well as a few other books. I've had the pup since she was 6 weeks old and she is turning into a fine gun dog companion. Will now start to use the more advanced techniques to train stauchness on birds.

    A great overall coverage of proper and humane use of a remote collar. I used to be one of those folks that hated the thought of using a "shock" collar on any dog. My experience was "comply or fry" and I hated that. I was able to talk to a gun dog owner that used ecollars differently. I watched him and his dogs happily working and that changed my opinion. I then soaked up as much knowledge as I could.
