The membrane sodium-potassium ATPase when inhibited can function as a ATP synthesizing enzyme. This leads to brain hibernation and the brain goes to sleep preserving its cell and tissue structure. This can be called as endosymbiotic archaea mediated stunted brain hibernatory syndrome.
