Remember, the disciples did not fully understand the identity and mission of Jesus. The Holy Spirit constantly reminds me of this. They witnessed Jesus healing the sick and raising the dead, but they did not know Jesus. We have not healed the sick nor raised the dead. Therefore, we should not be surprised if people that we think would know our heart and spirit, do not.
