MAUDE is a loose character who's a bit scratchy. We think she lives outside, but where? She lets no grass grow under her feet, is extremely curious and can occasionally be found diving from a high board, or singing in an opera, or mistaking a bus for an airplane, or being shot out of a canon, or visiting Wonderland.
