The Boy Who Became a Bear - Jean Bennett - Bog

Long ago in a far away land, Stefan, a curious farm boy, set out on a quest over the mysterious Dark Mountains. His thoughtless actions anger the Dark Wizard who dwells there caring for the forest and its creatures. The wizard commands, "You are to become a bear so that you will learn the lives and feelings of animals." With a bright glow, the spell is cast, transforming the boy into a large white bear left alone to find his way.
