It's been over a year since LaTrell and Daryl lost their mother to cancer. As their Dad, Luis, does his best to fill the hole her passing has left in the Wiggins family (and in his heart) life goes on. Moments of happiness are shared along with challenges of growing pains. Though Latrell's friends Shajuan and Chandler are by her side every step of the way she pushes them away. Puberty challenges LaTrell to define who she is.
