Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2023 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Heilpädagogik, Sonderpädagogik, Note: 1,0, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Leitfrage dieser Seminararbeit lautet: "Welche Interventionsmöglichkeiten der Heilpädagogik gibt es für Kinder im Alter von 1-3 Jahren mit einer Dysregulation im Schlafverhalten? Wie sind diese Interventionen vor einem neurobiologischen Hintergrund einzuordnen?"Um diese Frage zu beantworten, bezieht sich die Seminararbeit auf heilpädagogische Interventionsmöglichkeiten zur Regulation des Schlafverhaltens bei ein- bis dreijährigen Kindern. Dabei steht die Dysregulation des Schlafverhalten auf Basis von neurologischen Ursachen im Fokus der schriftlichen Ausarbeitung. Anfangs wird die Regulationsstörung kurz definiert, um dann auf die Dysregulation des Schlafverhalten einzugehen. Betrachtet wird diese anhand der Symptome der IDC-10 und der Prävalenz. Im Hauptteil werden verschiedene Interventionsmöglichkeiten wie die Schlafhygiene, Schlafpraktiken und das Co-Sleeping auf Basis von wissenschaftlichen Studien erläutert und diskutiert. Alle Interventionensvorschläge finden in der heilpädagogischen Beratung Anwendung.Systematische Studien an Menschen und Tieren haben gezeigt, dass ein völliger Schlafentzug zum Tod führt. In den ersten Wochen des menschlichen Lebens nimmt der Schlaf 70 % der Zeit in Anspruch, bei Erwachsenen hingegen nur 30 % des Tages. Während viele Eltern keine Probleme mit ihren Kindern bezüglich des Schlafverhaltens haben, hat jede 10. Familie Dysregulationsschwierigkeiten bei Säuglingen nach der Geburt.Schlafstörungen im Kindesalter sind mit einer Gesamtprävalenz von etwa 20 % weit verbreitet und stellen für betroffene Kinder und ihre Eltern oft eine große Belastung dar. In- und Parasomnien sind daher sehr häufig. Studienergebnisse verdeutlichen, dass im Interesse der kindlichen Entwicklung dem gesunden Schlaf besondere Aufmerksamkeit gewidmet werden sollte und entsprechende therapeutische Konzepte angewandt werden sollten, um kranken Kindern und ihren Eltern bei der Bewältigung von Schlafproblemen zu helfen. Da Schlafprobleme bei Kindern sehr unterschiedlich sind, bedarf es individueller Behandlungsstrategien.

An important aim is also to identify the opinions studied in a temporal perspective, which will make it possible to capture the changes in the acceptance of selected theoretical and organisational assumptions underlying inclusive education. The research was conducted on a group of Polish teachers, but the findings can be applied to other countries.

This book addresses the tensions of existing theories and practices of inclusive education from an international perspective. Adopting Disability Critical Race Theory in Education (DisCrit) and Critical Disability Studies (CDS), the authors expose how race neutral knowledge characterizes inclusive education and exhorts readers to consider how intersectional perspectives provide more complex and nuanced understandings about ways in which racism and ableism simultaneously circulate as intersecting oppressions in schools and societies and across geographical borders. The authors begin by engaging in a critical analysis of the genesis of inclusive education before exploring how existing policies and practices of inclusive education in the global North evade the collusive nature of oppressions faced by minoritized students with disabilities and are uncritically transferred into the global South. Ultimately, the book encourages readers to reconceptualize inclusive education and move towards developing and sustaining transformative notions of global justice.

This book describes the disability rights movement that started in the USA and its influence on the disability rights movement in Lebanon, which has led to the endorsement of the Lebanese Disability Act 220/2000. The book introduces the reader to the Lebanese Disability Act 220/ 2000, its definition of disability, and its relation to the medical and social models of disabilities and then articulate the Act articles. Then, it defines the inclusive design paradigm that acknowledges the needs of all people at each stage of their life cycle and presents the difference between inclusive design and accessibility and disability notions. Moreover, the book reviews the different international accessible design standards (American and French) that are adopted in Lebanon with the absence of a nationalized Lebanese design standard and its effect on eliminating barriers and enhancing accessibility at university buildings. Besides, the book presents students' experiences and their satisfaction with the university built environments. 6 university buildings case studies at the American University of Beirut are assessed and analysed to check whether they adopt the inclusive design approach and then propose inclusive design solutions for both heritage and modern university buildings. What makes the book unique is its combination of empirical and theoretical application of inclusive design. The last section, reflects the author¿s inclusive design teaching pedagogy.
