This book is based on the theory of nonlinear (Lipschitz) operators. Recently, Lipschitz versions of different types of linear operators were investigated in several papers, as summability, ideals, convexity, and compacteness of Lipschits operators. There are not many books exclusively dealing with the propertie of nonlinear operators as: summability and ideals theory of nonlinear operators.In this book we present the theory of summability of Lipschitz operators, also some properties of linear operators which generalized to Lipschitz operatorsn their excellent book Framer and Johnson have introduce the theory of summability Lipschitz operators between pointed metric spaces and showed that it is a good generalization of the concept of linear p-summing operators between Banach spaces. This work marked the beginning of the theory of generalization of properties of linear operators to nonlinear case. Even in this much simpler case it becomes clear that we cannot hope to get n complete description of all properties of linear operators which generalized to Lipschitz operators. Therefore, we must limit ourselves to particular the dirent notions of Lipschitz operators which exists.
Wesentliche Zielsetzung dieser Arbeit ist ein theoretisch fundierter und empirisch abgestützter Beitrag zur Messung einer Facette diagnostischer Kompetenz bei Lehrpersonen der Primarstufe ¿ dem Erkennen von Stärken und Schwächen in Lösungen von Schülerinnen und Schülern im Größenbereich Gewichte. Diagnostische Kompetenz gilt als Grundlage dafür, den Grad von Verständnis in Lösungen von Schülerinnen und Schülern zu erkennen. Ebenso gilt sie als Voraussetzung dafür, fehlerhafte und richtige Überlegungen zu identifizieren und deren Genese zu interpretieren. Diagnostische Kompetenz reliabel und valide zu messen, gestaltet sich in der Umsetzung jedoch oft schwierig, da Kombinationen von Wissen und Können gemessen werden sollen. Oft findet deshalb in der Forschung eine Fokussierung auf die Urteilsakkuratheit statt. Um das Feld von Untersuchungen, bei denen die Urteilsakkuratheit als Paradigma im Vordergrund steht, zu erweitern, wurde ein Testinstrument entwickelt, mit dem der Fokus auf das Erkennen von Stärken und Schwächen gelegt wird. Auf der Basis der Ergebnisse der Arbeit kann gezeigt werden, dass einerseits das Erkennen von Stärken und Schwächen durch eine Intervention trainiert und verbessert werden kann und andererseits, dass diese Veränderungen mit dem dafür entwickelten Kompetenzmessinstrument erfasst werden können.

This textbook provides a mathematical introduction to linear systems, with a focus on the continuous-time models that arise in engineering applications such as electrical circuits and signal processing. The book introduces linear systems via block diagrams and the theory of the Laplace transform, using basic complex analysis. The book mainly covers linear systems with finite-dimensional state spaces. Graphical methods such as Nyquist plots and Bode plots are presented alongside computational tools such as MATLAB. Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems, which arise in modern telecommunication devices, are discussed in detail. The book also introduces orthogonal polynomials with important examples in signal processing and wireless communication, such as Telatar¿s model for multiple antenna transmission. One of the later chapters introduces infinite-dimensional Hilbert space as a state space, with the canonical model of a linear system. The final chapter covers modern applications to signal processing, Whittaker¿s sampling theorem for band-limited functions, and Shannon¿s wavelet. Higher special functions emerge from boundary eigenvalue problems of Fuchsian differential equations with more than three singularities. This detailed reference provides solutions for singular boundary eigenvalue problems of linear ordinary differential equations of second order, exploring previously unknown methods for finding higher special functions. Starting from the fact that it is the singularities of a differential equation that determine the local, as well as the global, behaviour of its solutions, the author develops methods that are both new and efficient and lead to functional relationships that were previously unknown. All the developments discussed are placed within their historical context, allowing the reader to trace the roots of the theory back through the work of many generations of great mathematicians. Particular attention is given to the work of George Cecil Jaffé, who laid the foundation with the calculation of the quantum mechanical energy levels of the hydrogen molecule ion.
The finite generation theorem is a major achievement of modern algebraic geometry. Based on the minimal model theory, it states that the canonical ring of an algebraic variety defined over a field of characteristic zero is a finitely generated graded ring. This graduate-level text is the first to explain this proof.
