Health and Welfare are generally confused with Social Service, Social Reforms, Social Work and Social Security. These terms are considered synonyms and are therefore used interchangeably. This confusion and ambiguity has arisen because of the fact that they all have identical and/or similar aim, which is the well-being of the people. These terms are interpreted differently in different countries and even in the same country at different times.
