Reet is a story about a woman who is so strong; yet vulnerable,
all her life she has lived in a fancy house - very comfortable.
She married the man of her dreams; a life filled with delight,
Two kids who were the reason for her smile and pride.
Bound by worldly duties and responsibilities,
her own life became her hidden liabilities.
Something inside her was broken, the reasons unknown to many,
He would assure," don't overthink. Life is perfect honey."
She mastered deceit until one day a deceiver visited her,
he nudged her to open up, helped her to transform.
Found solace -- in words she wrote, for that she'll always be thankful,
like every person she has ever met, he was but unthankful.
Love is not meant for her - she accepted the facts,
people walk into her life, like a hunter with an axe.
Her expectations were her foe. Her honesty was her enemy; she lost the will to live. It lacked the magical chemistry
She was miserable. "No one understands me," she would scream,
every day was a struggle. Sleeping with flooded tear stream.
"Only you believed in me, dear Mother. I won't let history repeat itself,"
she vowed - "the pain you lived with, I won't let it come on myself."
Righteousness was something she received in her genes,
fulfilling her duties; she forgot - she was raised by a fierce queen.
Then one day,
She decided to live her life on her terms and conditions,
finally, she gathered the courage to walk away from all empty prepositions.

a life filled with certainty; happiness and smiles in abundance.
