In jüngster Zeit mehren sich die Anstrengungen, in der Rezeption post- und dekolonialer Theorien Gelerntes für das Nachdenken über Religion und Theologie fruchtbar zu machen - und sie lohnen sich: Theolog:innen aus dem globalen Süden liefern wichtige Impulse zur theologischen Reflexion und Dekonstruktion von Eurozentrismus, Macht und Selbstverständlichkeiten. Diese aufzunehmen, ist auch für die in Europa kontextualisierte Theologie ein Gewinn. Dies gilt umso mehr, wo sie als Selbstkritik notwendig ist, denn wenn Kirchen und Theologie Machtasymmetrien oder Rassismus kritisch hinterfragen, stellt sich die Anfrage an eigene Praxen umso dringender. Der Band versammelt Texte aus der Systematische Theologie, der Exegese, der Religionspädagogik und der Erziehungswissenschaft sowie der Christentumsgeschichte, ergänzt um wichtige Stimmen aus der kirchlichen Praxis und die der studentischen Perspektive der Initiative "Decolonize Theology".

The book is devoted to the solution of the problem of determining the presence of corona discharge on electrical equipment with acoustic radiation. It is shown that corona discharge leads not only to irreversible losses of electrical energy, but also interferes with the transmission of high-frequency signals, deteriorates insulating elements, can become a source of conditions for the occurrence of a destructive arc discharge and is one of the factors of changing the continuity of the electrical system as a whole. The book describes the processes in a corona discharge that lead to the occurrence of acoustic waves. The authors analyzed acoustic radiation from a corona discharge reproduced in laboratory conditions. The received acoustic signals were processed by Fourier transform. Thus, the features of the spectral function, which belong specifically to the corona discharge in electrical networks with industrial frequency current, were determined. Based on the inverse Fourier transform, a simplified model of the acoustic radiation of the corona discharge was constructed. The authors proposed a method for detecting the presence of a corona discharge based on the spectral characteristics of acoustic radiation. Techniques were developed to determine the presence of a corona discharge for the creation of stationary and mobile devices. The advantages of the method of detecting the presence of corona discharge by the acoustic spectrum are shown. The method makes it possible to determine the presence of a corona discharge remotely, even out of direct sight, regardless of the time of day and regardless of the season. The book states that determining the presence of a corona discharge is not enough, it is still necessary to determine its location. The method of finding the coordinates of the corona discharge as a source of sound was described. Methods of searching for corona discharge coordinates with a fixed scanning device and a moving scanning device are proposed. A UAV is proposed as a mobile platform for the scanning system. The influence of the Doppler effect on acoustic measurements when the UAV speed changes was taken into account. The authors have shown that the use of coronal discharge detection with UAVs will not only enable the prevention of coronal discharge, but also increase the frequency of surface inspections. This will allow timely measures to be taken to improve the reliability of the power system operation. The book is intended for the researchers, postgraduate students and students specialized in theory and calculations of electrical systems.

This book is about environmental and climate legal protection in the energy transition. The Paris Agreement has a binding commitment of holding the global temperature increase to 2(deg)C while pursuing efforts to limit it to 1.5(deg)C. To cope with the negative effects of climate changes and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, one of the primary responses has been the deployment of renewable energy sources, transiting from fossil fuels to sustainable electricity production. However, renewable energy sources can also cause significant environmental impacts. This book describes for first time the synthesis and intensified process design in the production of top biofuels. The production of biofuels is not new. In 2019, global biofuel production levels reached 1,841 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day, in stark comparison to the 187 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day that was produced in 2000. Growth has largely been driven by policies that encourage the use and production of biofuels due to the perception that it could provide energy security and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in relevant sectors. From a technical point of view, almost all fuels from fossil resources could be substituted by their bio-based counterparts. However, the cost of bio-based production in many cases exceeds the cost of petrochemical production. Also, biofuels must be proven to perform at least as good as the petrochemical equivalent they are substituting and to have a lower environmental impact. The low price of crude oil acted as a barrier to biofuels production and producers focussed on the specific attributes of biofuels such as their complex structure to justify production costs. Also, the consumer demand for environmentally friendly products, population growth and limited supplies of non-renewable resources has now opened new windows of opportunity for biofuels. The industry is increasingly viewing chemical production from renewable resources as an attractive area for investment. This book uniquely introduces the application of new process intensification techniques that will allow the generation of clean, efficient and economical processes for biofuels in a competitive way in the market.
