It represents the main categories of innovation and presents a new category of them according to the scholar¿s opinions. Moreover, it examines the general and functional managers¿ point of views regarding their opinion about the most important knowledge management areas in the innovation processes. The results presented the first and most important knowledge management area is human resource management.
